But now I've failed and we're gone

almost holding hands,
a puffy red heart almost suspended
above them in a conjoined dream cloud,
and I almost stab it with my cigarette,
send it sputtering and whining into the night.
Tomorrow while I'm taking out the trash
I imagine each of them will be dictating
love letters to a friend, each planning their ascent
and subsequent colonization of the other:
she'll teach him to wear deodorant more often,
take off his socks before they go to bed,
while he'll convince her Hemingway is a saint
and Emily Dickinson is Martha Stewart.
While I'm rinsing off a spoon, running the garbage disposal,
they'll be on th
totally awesome, totally assorted stuff!!  so many talented people in this world..   |
   I'm 16 years YOUNG ◕‿◕ I'm vertically challenged. ಠ_ಠ  I live in the Philippines, where it's hot all day and everywhere you look is a beachI love taking photos, as well as drawing. But then I'm way too lazy to actually draw much, but on rare occasions, I spend hours and hours and HOURS making a single piece. I like creating images that are dream-like, or whimsical. I feel that they convey special feelings that way. I still believe in love. No matter what happens, love will never fail.  Still an amateur, but learning every day.   |
